The Jiayu S3 is very well packed in a box made of recycled cardboard, and is accompanied by a leaflet in English and Chinese, European battery charger with USB connectivity, making a content box a bit feeble, not hands-free kit, no cover or screen protector.
It has a beautiful finish with a stiff mat full plastic shell, classic but effective, making this mid-range smartphone for decision in friendly hands (it weighs only 158 g).
In terms of connectivity, there are two SIM card slots, a Micro SD slot, a 3.5 mm audio jack output and a USB input.
Overall performance
It has a processor Core MediaTek MT6752 Octa, making it a fast and functional mid-range phone.
We can compare this phone to a Samsung Galaxy S5, making it a phone quite interesting in terms of price, as a reminder, the Samsung model is twice as expensive as the Jiayu S3. It is also much more efficient, according Antutu, the Google Nexus 5, LG G3 or the HTC One.

Software part
This is an Android 4.4 with a slight overlay Jiayu, we do not find specific applications. All useful apps are already present. The Play Store is of course of the game to download thousands of applications and games.
The design of the overlay is fairly standard. Note that it is possible to customize the user experience a bit through various more or less successful themes, a nice touch.
We also note the presence of Smart Gestures. For example, you can unlock the phone double tapping on the screen or draw a letter which will launch a particular application.

Autonomy
I was amazed by the battery of Jiayu S3. I tested it on a full day leaving the Internet, and he keeps his promises, he held until bedtime to 23h without any worry.
It can hold in idle more than 24 hours, and has a very good battery life, even during long telephone conversations.
Generally, when the battery is almost empty, it takes 3 hours to recharge fully.
