Elephone returns to be talked about offering a smartphone with a very high potential, it is Elephone Vowney, a new mid-range product with features top of the range based on a screen QHD and SoC Mediatek Helio X10 Octa Core.
This device has a hardware sector can give very high performance without neglecting the aesthetics and the quality of materials.
There was talk of two versions of this smartphone, one with Android and another with Windows 10, but now it seems that Elephone has shelved the idea of producing a model based on the Microsoft operating system; this choice may be due to fears that Windows is not well received in China, a country where this OS is not very widespread, at least in the mobile sector. It is not excluded that in future be marketed the Windows version, perhaps dedicating sales to western countries, that might better appreciate this operating system.
Elephone Vowney specifications:
It offers a 5.5-inch screen with qHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), while the core of the device resides in the X10 platform MediaTek Helio (MT6795), an octa-core processors with 64-bit architecture, supported by 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB.
On the back is a camera housing 21 megapixel Sony IMX230 and a front sensor with 8 megapixels. The device supports dual sim, as has become customary in smartphones destined to eastern markets, and the LTE connection. The dimensions are not the most contained with a weight of 169 grams, a height of 152 mm and a width of 76.5 mm, with a thickness of 8.9 mm.
The battery used is from 3850 mAh and surely will be appreciated by many, given the discontent about the autonomy of the terminals with qHD resolution. The asset is based on Android version 5.0 Lollipop.
The design seems to be nice, if a little anonymous, thanks to the metal frame, which gives an edge to the device.
Well, it is said from the Elephone, this new device could be launched in October but the price is still unknown, how much it will cost? Do you have an ideal price for expecting? Please just keep following Phonedroid!
