If there has a constructor that never stops, it is Elephone. While the P7000 has been pushed back to May, his successor is already being created and its name is rather simple, it is called the Elephone P8000. But if you want to know mor about the Chinese manufacturer, please just be a little more patient!
A new processor
Contrary to what we thought the Elephone P8000 will not have the MediaTek MT6752, but with a new processor MediaTek MT6753 . Even thoguh the name which predicts an evolution, this processor is more regressive. Indeed, its frequency is « only » 1.3 GHz. The rest remains similar since the SoC is an architecture Cortex A53 64 Bits and Octa Core. So we are certainly on a lower model Elephone P7000 in terms of performance.
Similar design?
After seeing his photos, immediately I had the image of Ecoo Aurora E04 in mind. Although both models are not so like the P8000 Elephone borrows the shape and the back cover of Ecoo. Nothing very surprising when you know that the E04 is manufactured by Elephone. What demonstrate the great inspiration that comes from the Chinese manufacturer to launch numerous models. The finish seems to have been rather worked even if the contours of the device seems to be made of plastic. Aluminum does not being a popular hardware manufacturer.
A point on the configurations
The good news is that most of the features have also leaked. The Elephone P8000 should consist of a wide screen of 5.5 inches with a resolution yet unknown, MediaTek MT6753 an Octa Core processor accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable Micro SD . The device will be compatible with 4G on all frequencies as its little brother the Elephone P4000 and « World Mode ». The camera duo should be 8 megapixel on the front and 16 million in back. Finally, we appreciate the large battery of 4200 mAh and also the traditional fingerprint sensor. Android 5.0 Lollipop should be part right out of the phone.
Uncertain price and availability
For now, it is very difficult to predict when the Elephone P8000 may be marketed. With the busy schedule of the manufacturer, it is possible that the P8000 is done waiting. To recall, the manufacturer has yet to release the P7000, the P4000 and Halo. The price should be cheaper than the P7000, that is all that can predict.
