As we known that Cube released a new tablet name Cube i7 a few monthes ago, but its high retail price (even higher than the iPad newest version) has caused great controversy from the buyers. So Cube trying to modify the configurations on this tablet to reduce their cost and offering a more affordable price for all the buyers. Now they released a new version named Cube i7-CM. So what are the exactly changes for this new model? Let’s see the detailed information as below:

Even though the ROM has been reduced to 64GB, the Cube i7-CM still features an SSD SATA3 drive, much better than other Core-M tablet. But Cube i7-CM only supports 3G network (WCDMA/GSM), this is unlike the original Cube i7, which supports both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G networks. What’s more, the i7-CM doesn’t come with a licensed Windows 8.1 OS like the original i7 does, instead it runs Ubuntu OS or a trail version of Windows 8.1 on top.
Except the above features changed, everything else about Cube i7-CM is identical to the original i7, so you still can get a perfect tablet with sturdy and premium metal chassis, a beefy 14nm Intel Core-M 5Y10c dual-core CPU, an embedded Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU, 4GB DDR3L RAM, a stunning 11.6-inch IPS display at the resolution of 1920*1080, a two-cell 7.4V 5000mAh battery and dual cameras. But a big difference on the price, Cube i7-CM only cost about 400€.
